Relevant Information: The data set consists of retrospective records of 151 patients suffering from acute respiratory insufficiency on a long-term (at least 7 days) mechanical ventilation. Each case is described by 17 clinical and paraclinical features. Based on these, two classes of patients are distinguished: not ready for weaning and ready for weaning from mechanical ventilation. Each patient is an instance in both classes as their parameters were measured once before weaning and once at the start of weaning. 5. Number of Instances: 302 6.
